What's New today
I was giving some thoughts to the upcoming holiday season that is coming upon us. I love making things for my family and buying gifts making memories, but it can be so expensive. What do you do to help take that burden off your family? Are you one of those people who purchase gifts throughout the year that way you are not overwhelmed before Christmas? Or are you the kind of person that waits right before the Christmas and rush's around like a chicken with there heads cut off? I am kind of in the middle. I try and stock up but also wait. I make things and purchase items for everyone. I always feel like I don't know what the kids want. The older the boys get the harder it is to buy things for them. I wish I could just buy them some color books and crayons and call it good and there eyes would light up like they use to. It seems like kids nowadays want such expensive things I have been taking surveys and I personally get paid with gift cards and have those loaded on my amazon account. Do I get rich? Heck no, but every bit helps. I also do reviews for different products for companies and that helps out. I don't normally get paid for those reviews but I do get free or reduced products which means I get products I can also use as gifts for my family since you cannot sell products you review. I also like getting samples because with have pre-teens and a few young adults that are not so good at being on there own yet samples are another great item to give as basket gifts. I thought I would compile a list of different ways I make a little extra Christmas money and gift giving help. Not only am I hoping this will help someone else during the holidays but it will also help me stay a bit organized because it can get a bit overwhelming with the amount of tasks I try and take on daily not including my daily household chores.
